About US

Why Work With New Hope Grief Centre

“The pain, the emptiness and the sadness are real. You don’t have to handle this on your own. I can help you take the first small step to feel like you can breathe.”

The grief experienced from loss can feel like a crushing weight that never lifts. The well-meaning words and early days of compassion from friends and family aren’t enough to help you find a way to function in a world that feels like it’s moving at full speed while you feel frozen in place.

Like most people, I’ve experienced the pain of loss and witnessed its profound impact on individuals. This is what moved me towards being a therapist. I wanted to help people find their footing, honour their experience and bring renewed hope to the days.

In-person therapy can be very comforting and effective when it comes to grief, providing a sense of calm and clarity. There’s no pressure or judgement here, we will move at your pace. This is a safe space where I’ll listen to your story, recognize and embrace your strengths while you take the first steps forward.
